    Checkers Help

    Object:
Clear all your opponent's pieces off the board

    How to play:
Checkers is a simple game to play, but requires some strategic thinking. You need to move you pieces around the board and manoeuvre them into positions that allow you to jump over your opponent's pieces, thereby removing them from the board. Once all your opponent's pieces have been removed from the board, you win the game. If your opponent succeeds in removing all your pieces from the board, you lose.

To move a piece, click and hold, and then drag it to the square you wish to move it to.

You can only move your pieces diagonally and forward, and you can only move onto an unoccupied square that is adjacent to the square that the piece you want to move is on. If an opposing piece is diagonally adjacent to one of your pieces, you can jump over it, as long as the square you are jumping to is unoccupied. If it is possible to jump over consecutive opposing pieces you are allowed to do so. This is the only time that you can make more than one move at a time.

If any of your pieces makes it to the back row of your opponent's side of the board, it gains the ability to move both forwards and backwards, and you can thus use it to chase down your opponent's pieces.
